Love burgundy for fall... 🍁🍂 After a busy year focusing on @doctorcontour.clinic with 100% dedication to aesthetic medicine and my work as an aesthetic doctor, I decided it was time to bring back some fashion blogging on the side as a hobby. That’s why I’ve created an ‘intermezzo blog post’ where I’m sharing 5 fall outfits I’ll wear this autumn! 👗

For those who don’t know, I’ve been fashion blogging since 2017, alongside my life as a medical student.👩‍⚕️Lately, it’s been on my mind a lot, especially as I’ve been so focused on my career as an aesthetic doctor. At first, I thought I’d stop fashion altogether because I worried people wouldn’t take me seriously as a doctor (oh, the prejudices…), but now I’ve decided to just be authentically myself—that’s what makes me happiest! 😃

Most of my patients know I’m extremely dedicated to aesthetic medicine💉 and that it’s something I’m busy with almost 24/7, but I’ve also decided it doesn’t have to be my only identity. I’ll always be the ‘aesthetic doctor and fashionista in one,’ whenever I have the time and feel inspired, of course 🙃😉

🇳🇱Ik was uitgenodigd voor de eerste editie van @thebb.event afgelopen vrijdag in Rotterdam, een bijeenkomst waar gedreven vrouwen samenkomen om elkaar te inspireren en te versterken. 💪 Het was een dag vol krachtige talks van bijzondere vrouwen die hun ervaringen en inzichten deelden. ✨

🇬🇧I was invited to the first edition of @thebb.event last Friday in Rotterdam, a gathering where driven women come together to inspire and empower each other. 💪 It was a day filled with powerful talks from remarkable women sharing their experiences and insights.✨

🇳🇱Heb je al gehoord van de term ‘collagen banking’? Collageen is het eiwit dat onze huid stevig, elastisch en jong houdt. Vanaf je midden twintiger jaren verlies je jaarlijks ongeveer 1% collageen. Dit proces versnelt tijdens de menopauze, waarbij vrouwen in de eerste vijf jaar tot wel 30% van hun collageen kunnen verliezen.
