Parisian Fashion: 3 Stylish Outfits With a Red Touch

If you’ve been keeping up with my Instagram Stories, you’ll know that I recently traveled to Paris for the second time to attend the IMCAS World Congress as an aesthetic doctor. This congress is the leading global event in the field of aesthetic medicine.

This time, we won’t focus on aesthetic medicine in the blog. Just like last year, I used the beautiful backdrop of Paris to showcase some winter outfits, of course, after the congress had ended.

Last year, my Paris outfits were inspired by ‘Emily in Paris’, and although my style generally has elements of both ‘Emily in Paris’ and ‘Gossip Girl’, the common thread throughout my outfits was quite literally a ‘red touch’.

OUTFIT 1:

Even though ‘Emily in Paris’ isn’t the central theme of this blog, I find that this outfit certainly has aspects of it. You’ve probably seen me in the ‘pied-de-poule’ print before, which I absolutely adore! I combined this classic, chic, and timeless print with a red sweater, a white blouse underneath, a red wool coat, black pumps, and a dark blue Guess handbag. And, wandering around one of Paris’s iconic monuments (the Louvre), I completed my outfit with a black beret, for that essential Parisian flair.

OUTFIT 2:

Back to the symbol of Paris: the Eiffel Tower, and the famous Parisian café ‘Castel’. In the shadow of the Eiffel Tower, I enjoyed a cappuccino, dressed in a white tweed two-piece set, complemented with a black wool winter coat, red gloves, and, of course, a red beret.

OUTFIT 3:

Back at the Louvre museum, I chose an ‘all red’ outfit with a red blazer and a classic black and white dress, paired with black booties. This time no beret, but a matching red headband (I’m a big fan of headbands!) and again the Guess handbag.

Those were the three outfits I wore in Paris, each with a touch of red. Keep following my Instagram for regular updates with new outfits. And yes, as an aesthetic doctor, I will continue to post outfits. I don’t believe this undermines my professionalism; fashion has always been a part of my personality and is separate from my work as a doctor.

My work as an aesthetic doctor is my main profession, but sharing my outfits is a beloved hobby that I have been practicing for over six years, since my medical student days. I hope that my (future) patients can relate to my style and that I can inspire others!

Back to medical aesthetics in the next post, as I am busy creating new content for my blog and social media, to complete my ‘aesthetic guide’ and better inform my (future) patients.
